We are a full service firm specializing in company branding solutions and professional photography. As our name implies we focus on, but do not restrict ourselves to, the areas of photography, digital and design works. We are in the process of building a stock photography inventory for you to order, and download, online.
Photographic services encompass black and white in addition to colour photographs in the following professional categories:
Digital design elements centre on photo restoration, web page collaboration & design with associate design companies, photo manipulation, collages/montages and other custom items.
Graphic services focus on the development of corporate identities complete with themes for client logos, business cards, letterheads, envelopes and brochures/pamphlets. We also offer posters, banners and customized invitations.
APEX Photography & Design is owned and operated by Douglas Murphy.
Doug was 19 years of age, in the Spring of 1987, when a tumor was discovered in the Pineal Region of his brain. Since then he has had radiotherapy and over 30 operations, the first being the installation of a shunt to relieve the massive accumulation of Cerebral Spinal Fluid (CSF) in his head. The accumulation was caused by the tumor blocking a tiny acqueduct through which the fluid normally drains. Doug has nearly 10 years of experience in the fields of photography, digital imaging and design. Having had a brain tumor has not prevented him in achieving his goals of acquiring training in these fields and his commencement of a business in the Communication Design Industry.
